The thought of other people spending any amount of time seriously contemplating- even illustrating, augh, augh, fuck- a sexual relationship between us, let alone the actual prospect, makes me genuinely physically ill. My face when people delete something I post on their pages. Seriously, is it because I made you look bad? Is it because you care SO much what your friends might say? Wtf? Deal with it! I have never ever deleted any posts from anyone. Chill, your life will NOT end just because I say something and one of your friends doesn’t agree with me. I am pretty sure three people have deleted posts of mine, including 2 of my sisters.. wusses.

Today it hit me, my baby shower is next week and this is how I feel. My sister wanted to throw me a surprise baby shower but let my hubby know, and he told her I don’t like surprises, so they let me know, *phew*! Don’t get me wrong, I DO like surprises, I just don’t like surprises that are going to make ME the center of attention in front of 20+ people. I get nervous enough knowing that I will be the center of attention as it is, being a surprise would have given me a mild heart attack lol! I know I am going to be around people who love me, but I just can’t help being nervous. I guess all I can do now is try to relax and keep myself busy doing things that distract me from thinking about it… but lets face it, nothing’s going to help.

Sorry, but I can’t be fake about it.  For example, I love my sister… a LOT, but when she starts talking to me about brands of clothing she has purchased, I really am not interested. It hurts me to shoot her down the way I do, but man, that’s really something I can’t talk about because it’s so blah to me.

LABOR

Who will be in the delivery room?: Just my hubbster and the staff.

Will you use medication?: If I were allowed to have a vba2c, NO. I don’t agree with medication. I had natural labors with my other two girls and I didn’t mind the pain. Don’t get me wrong, it hurt, but I’d rather not drug up my baby. It’s a natural process and I like keeping it that way :) BUT, I’m very likely to get a c-section, so I’ll be getting whatever medications they give for that. Booooo!

Are you scared about labor?: Nope.

Will you videotape or take pictures?: I have to ask the hospital if that’s allowed, if it is, yes. But it will not be gruesome and, it’s something for my hubbsters and my eyes only, maybe our kids when they’re older.

How will you react when you see baby?: My heart will definitely melt, it happened twice already, and I’ll shed a few tears of course :D

MISCELLANEOUS

Did you have morning sickness?: I was mostly nauseaus, but I never threw up.

Did you have any cravings?: Cucumbers, jicama, carrots drenched in lime and sprinkled with salt and chili. Also, baked potatoes with sour cream, chives, salt and pepper.

Did you have any mood swings?: A few times

Are you a high risk pregnancy?: No

Any complications?: If you call a c-section a complication. I know for a fact that I can have her naturally if I wanted to, but I couldn’t find a doctor who supports that here in the L.A. area… booo!!!

Formula or breastfeeding?: I plan on breastfeeding

Have you bought anything for baby yet?: I’m over 6 months pregnant and I barely bought her a little outfit last week.

How long could you wear your regular clothes?: Pants - 3 months, they get uncomfortable early on, tshirts, I am still wearing them lol

Who will help with baby after their born?: I don’t need help with baby. I am the type of woman who even after having a c-section can hold their own. Hubbster will be around, so he might help with other things, but I’ll be cooking, taking care of baby and whatever else I am allowed to do after having a c-section.

What is your favorite thing about being pregnant?: Feeling and seeing her move, it’s adorable!

What is the worst thing about being pregnant?: Just the early pregnancy nausea and maybe the late pregnancy need to visit the restroom every 10 minutes.

My morning consists of… baking! I was supposed to bake yesterday but had a horrible headache I couldn’t get rid of, so I couldn’t even do my Saturday cleaning. My mom, sisters and nieces are visiting and the baking isn’t done, and the house isn’t very tidy… oops! Maybe they’ll get here late? Here’s hoping! :D
