I’M OUT, FOLKS. Time for cake!
I’m not a crazy eater, but to lose weight, I HAVE to work out every single day of the week. I have three kids, I have to tend to them, I have to cook for my family, I have to clean my home, I walk the kids to school every day (three times a day because they have different schedules). I work out 3 times a week for about 30 minutes. My youngest doesn’t nap, so if I work out in front of her, you bet she’s going to start climbing on me because she think’s I’m being silly. And as much as I try to keep working out with her on my back or my leg, a 35lb weight is a little excessive hahaha! Why don’t I work out at 5am you say? I’m the type of person who cannot function without a good amount of sleep. Lazy? No way, if I were lazy, I wouldn’t walk my kids to school. I take every opportunity I can get to get some activity in. So I’m fat,but I’m healthy. Deal with it, When I get more time/freedom, I will definitely work out more, and maybe then, I will slim down. Not for you, not for anyone, but for me.

I was indirectly taught to hate my body… even at my lightest, I was not happy because it was never enough.
Now that I am actually overweight, who KNOWS how they view me, I really don’t want to know. But one thing I DO know, I will never EVER make my daughters feel like crap because they’re “fat”. There’s no weight talk, there’s no race talk, there’s no violence talk in this home.
And seriously, I’m not saying that because it’s Marilyn… it could have been anyone and I would’ve said the same thing.
It is none of my damn business if a random 400-pound (or 150-pound, or 90-pound) woman is healthy or not. Just as it’s none of my business how much money she makes or how her sex life is going. Health is private. Period.
What I do believe – and what I feel perfectly qualified to proclaim from the rooftops - is that every woman at every weight, shape, and size deserves to be treated with respect, deserves to feel loved, deserves to make her own decisions about her own body. Every woman at every weight, shape, and size deserves to have a fabulous time exploring her personal style and honing her unique look. Every woman at every weight, shape, and size can define health for herself. And, above all, every woman at every weight, shape, and size deserves to be happy. Every woman at every weight, shape, and size CAN be happy. And anyone who claims that happiness is contingent on weight is foolish and misguided, prejudiced and small-minded.
I’m not interested in quantifying the health of other women. I’m not qualified to make decrees about the health of other women. But I’m making it my life’s work to make sure that other women are happy. Happy with their lives, their bodies, their very existences.
Because happiness trumps everything, and we all deserve a piece of it. ALL of us. Including you.”
… or maybe a lot. Wtf do you care? You’re not the one that has to look like this anyway, right? So stfu. Just because I choose not to eat lettuce all day, does NOT mean I pig out. I eat healthier than most of the people I know. You will not find junk food in my fridge or in my pantry, and you will not see me hitting up fast food places even once a week. I go maybe twice a month, but I’d say once a month is more accurate. I’m pregnant, and I have not used that as an excuse to pig out… not once! I’m “fat” because I don’t exercise, literally, 3 hours a day everyday, which is what my body needs for me to be thin… suckage :P
